There will be a reception for NYS Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins in Irvington in the evening on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd, (6:30-8:30).  Senator Stewart-Cousins is the Democratic Conference Leader in Albany.  She represents the 35th Senate District and has always stayed true to her constituency and herself.  We are proud of her accomplishments and grateful for her service. Congratulations to the winner of the Greenburgh Town Democratic Primary Incumbent Supervisor Paul Feiner:
Feiner: 65.31% Bernstein: 34.68%

Incumbent Town Clerk Judith Beville:
Beville: 67.85% Fantauzzi:32.14%

Currently, Supervisor Feiner is uncontested in the general election (Nov. 5th) and will run on the Democratic Party and Working Families lines.

The Irvington Democratic Committee hosted a Meet-and-Greet at Matthiessen Park.  Two of our Irvington High School alumni joined us to encourage new membership.  Our young members are well aware of the importance of political participation.

As members of the Town of Greenburgh Executive Board, Irvington District Leaders will vote (NO PROXIES) on Tuesday, May 21st to endorse Democratic candidates for Greenburgh: Town Supervisor, Town Council (2 seats), Clerk, Receiver of Taxes and respective County Legislators.  Location: Greenburgh Town Hall at 7:30PM (sign-in at 7).Click on Local Politics for results.

Once a year, The Irvington Democratic Committee partners with Groundwork Hudson Valley.  We are given a selected site to clean up.  Students can get community services hours and adults can get satisfaction!
